Basic Quick3DCloset Course

🎯 Objective

In this basic Quick3DCloset course, you will learn the essential concepts to use the software in just 20 minutes. We will cover how to create the architectural layout, how to design a wardrobe through the different design stages (Libraries, Doors, Structure, Element Layout and Pricing), how to change the materials of the different parts of the wardrobe and the architecture, how to create views and perspectives, and how to set up the lighting and create a render (photorealistic image).

  1. How to draw the architecture in Quick3DCloset
    In this part of the tutorial, we will learn how to create the room’s architecture in Quick3DCloset.

  2. How to create a closet or wardrobe #1: Catalogs, Doors, and Structure
    In this part of the tutorial, we will learn how to start creating a wardrobe, define its size, choose door types and models, select molding styles, and change the material of the different parts of the wardrobe, among other things.

  3. How to create a closet or wardrobe #2: Element distribution and pricing
    In this part of the tutorial, we will learn how to arrange the different elements inside the wardrobe (rails, drawers, shelves, etc.), how to create a detailed list of all the wardrobe components, and how to generate a quote for the wardrobe.

  4. How to change materials in Quick3DCloset
    In this part of the tutorial, we will learn how to change the wardrobe’s materials or finishes in the Library stage and in the Layout stage, as well as how to change the architectural materials (floor and walls).

  5. How to create views and perspectives, and hide the wardrobe doors in Quick3DCloset
    In this part of the tutorial, we will learn how to create and properly adjust a 3D perspective, then save it so it can be retrieved later. We will also see how to hide the wardrobe doors to view the interior.

  6. How to set up the lighting and create a render in Quick3DCloset
    In this final part of the tutorial, we will learn how to adjust the room’s lighting to achieve good illumination, and how to generate and save a photorealistic image.
