How to configure a closet with a single side panel and a single shelf by modifying their depth

Quick3DCloset includes a collection of predefined templates. Unfortunately, it does not yet include a single-side panel template. However, it is possible to modify another template to create custom configurations. To do this, follow these steps:

Select base template

• Start by selecting a template without side panels. For this example, we will use the following template: “No doors, no base panels and no external lateral”.

• In the ‘Catalogues‘ tab, configure:
  • Set the Width, Height, and Depth according to your needs.
  • In Modules: 1

• When you move on to the next design stage, you should only see the upper part of the closet.

Insert the left side panel

• In the ‘Distribution‘ stage, configure this:
  • Select Dividers and strips to add a divider that will act as a side panel.
    
    
    
  • Double-click in the gap to place the divider.
    
    
    
  • Disable the ‘Add top shelf’ option.
    
    

• Click the icon to configure the Height of the divider. Then click the “Maximum” option so it extends from bottom to top.

• Use the options to position the divider within the module. Again, you can use the maximum and minimum options to place it at the edges of the module. In our example, we are going to place the divider as the ‘left panel‘:

✅ (NOTE: You can add as many dividers as you want to create subdivisions within a module.)

Insert the shelf

• To add shelves, use the Shelves option. Click the Insert button in the top toolbar or double-click the space where you want to place the element.

Modify the elements’ depth

• When you define the wardrobe configuration this way, you can change the depth of any element by double-clicking on it or by selecting it and using the Edit option.
  • On the one hand, we modify the depth of the shelf:
    
    
    
  • And on the other hand, we modify the depth of the side panel divider:
